A beach listing does not guarantee safe swimming
Papagayo and Famara are different coastal landscapes. Enjoy walks or views without necessarily entering the water. Check flags, wind, swell and access on arrival: a guide recommendation does not replace local instructions.
Choose one area per day rather than turning the beach day into a chain of transfers. Check Papagayo access and facilities before leaving. In Famara, an instructor-led class does not remove swimming requirements or sea risks.
Choose kayaking or surfing for your group
The reviewed Papagayo kayak outing meets in Playa Blanca and combines paddling with snorkelling. Check weight, age, swimming and option requirements. Included equipment does not mean every health condition is compatible.
The Famara class is aimed at beginners and has its own meeting point. Book one main activity rather than two consecutive sessions to complete a list. If weather changes the programme, ask about alternatives and cancellation terms.
Diving before a flight: agree the intervals
The introductory dive in the catalogue is sold from Costa Teguise. Confirm dive location, pickup, age and the health questionnaire with the centre. We do not guarantee a fixed depth or duration for every participant.
We do not automatically add scuba diving to the five-day plan: agree the necessary intervals before flying or gaining altitude with the dive centre first. If it does not fit, keep a non-diving coastal day.
La Graciosa deserves its own day
An excursion from Lanzarote to La Graciosa includes time for reaching Órzola and the crossings. An independent ferry ticket and an organised cruise with lunch are different products; check timetables and conditions.
Do not assume beach access on the reviewed cruise: its listing contains disembarkation restrictions. Confirm what your option allows. Pickup from Playa Blanca is also restricted on certain days. We never propose this outing on flight day.
Sunset and cetaceans without a sighting promise
The Puerto del Carmen sunset outing is different from a La Graciosa day. Sailing and observing the coast are part of its appeal; it does not promise wildlife at a particular time.
Cetaceans are wild and the listing says sightings are not guaranteed. Confirm the dock and pickup; bookings close to departure may require getting there independently. Do not combine it with a same-day flight.

Are dolphin sightings guaranteed?
No. Wildlife is wild. A photograph or tour name is not a sighting guarantee.
Can I take a boat trip on flight day?
The planner does not propose it. A scheduled return does not remove sailing, disembarkation, traffic or transfer delays. The final day prioritises the airport.
