HELP WITH PLANNING

A little context before you go.

Where to stay

Playa Blanca suits the south; Puerto del Carmen and Playa Honda bring the coast closer to the airport; Costa Teguise offers access to the east and north. Haría and inland stays offer a different way to explore, with different transfers. Choose for your whole trip, not just one attraction.

Travel without rushing every day

Group nearby places. When using buses, check outward and return services before buying timed tickets. An excursion with confirmed pickup can help with one day; you still need to check its meeting point and time.

Separate the different bookings

A ferry ticket, an attraction admission and a complete excursion are different products. We do not assume a general CACT pass: its current information says multi-centre passes are no longer offered. Check current pricing and conditions.

Make room for changes

Bring water, sun protection, a wind layer and suitable footwear. Sea conditions can change a boat trip, and a timed ticket may shape the order of your visits. Reorganise without moving a long excursion to flight day.

Before planning your trip

Do I need a car to discover Lanzarote?

A car makes scattered visits easier, but you do not need to drive every day. Without one, check Intercity Lanzarote, choose fewer places each day and confirm pickup for an organised outing. We do not assume every map point has a useful public transport connection.

Can I enter Timanfaya and walk around independently?

The park has regulated visiting areas and arrangements. We do not present it as a place to drive or walk freely. Check the rules and your specific visit before booking.

Are tickets bought the same way for every centre?

No. Check the centre’s page and official calendar. CACT currently specifies timed online tickets for Montañas del Fuego and Cueva de los Verdes; an organised excursion may arrange access separately. Check your chosen option’s inclusions.

Is La Graciosa part of these five days?

We treat it as an optional excursion from Lanzarote. Allow for the harbour transfer, crossing and return: it replaces a day instead of being added to every other visit. It is never scheduled on flight day.

Do I book and pay on IslaRoam?

No. Commercial links take you to Viator to check dates, prices, restrictions and inclusions and complete the booking. An eligible, attributed reservation may earn IslaRoam a commission.
