A wildlife boat suits travellers who want to observe from a vessel and listen to the crew. An introductory dive requires participation in preparation and underwater activity. A jet ski requires following the guide and riding rules. Choose according to what you want to do and your group’s requirements.
Our suggestion is one main activity per day. Before comparing amounts, establish whether the price is per person, per jet ski or for a shared option, and whether transfers or extras are involved. We do not publish a fixed price that may change with your date and booking option.
Whale watching without interference
Look for an authorised operator and review its observation approach. Tenerife Tourism’s sustainability charter provides an additional comparison criterion. Check the operator’s current membership rather than assuming that any booking listing certifies it.
We do not recommend swimming with, feeding or pursuing cetaceans. A boat trip cannot guarantee a particular species, and sea conditions may change the departure. Discuss actual accessibility, boat layout and your group’s needs with the crew.
A first scuba dive: before paying
Make sure you are booking an introduction for beginners rather than a dive for certified divers. Ask about briefing language, instructor-to-participant ratio, equipment, entry requirements and what happens if you cannot complete the experience.
Complete the centre’s questionnaire and discuss health or fitness questions with its professionals. Before placing diving next to a flight or a Teide visit, agree the required post-dive interval with the centre. We do not give one universal interval: the dive and subsequent altitude exposure matter.
Jet skis: understand the conditions
Check single or double options, who may drive, permitted ages, documentation and any deposit. A guided safari is different from independent hire. Ask how much time is spent riding and how much is preparation or transport.
The selected product requires participants to complete an identification form in advance. Share those details only through the seller’s official channel. Confirm insurance, photographs, extras and what happens if the sea prevents departure. Follow the guide and keep away from wildlife.
Plan a coastal day with breathing room
Before leaving, save the meeting point, contact details and booking terms. Bring the items requested by the provider, water and sun protection; for water activities add swimwear and a towel. Check the journey back to your accommodation separately.
In rough seas, ask the seller about rescheduling or cancellation; choosing your own alternative does not change an existing booking’s terms. Our backup is a walk on a suitable open coastal stretch or a town visit. Avoid tightly connected activities and do not add altitude after diving without consulting the centre.

Before booking
Do all three activities leave from the same place?
Not necessarily. Every product has its own meeting or pickup point. Confirm the address, dock where relevant and check-in time, even if all the options are marketed in southern Tenerife.
Can I dive and visit Teide on the same day?
Do not arrange this without first consulting the dive centre about post-dive altitude exposure. Tell them when you fly too, and adapt the itinerary to their advice.
Are jet skis a way to approach dolphins?
We do not suggest them for seeking or approaching cetaceans. Choose an authorised observation trip, respect its rules and avoid pursuing or interacting with animals.
